earthMaking the world work today [20181120]

Talking about life here, on spaceship Earth, Bucky Fuller said that Malthus was wrong: there is enough to go around. Though there are distribution problems as well as terrible political and economic issues, we can make the world work. What Bucky said he wanted was to:

“Make the world work, for 100% of humanity, in the shortest possible time, through spontaneous cooperation, without ecological offense or the disadvantage of anyone.”

What will be important will be to communicate the facts that the world can work; make plans for how to make the world work; and, then, take actions to make the world work. Let’s make the world work: let’s do it now.

The Earth’s great koan: How come the world doesn’t work?

“That men do not learn very much from the lessons of history is the most important of all the lessons that history has to teach.” ― Aldous Huxley, Collected Essays
